Compliance
Compliance
We will establish a system to foster a corporate culture that complies not only with laws and regulations but also with corporate ethics, including our management philosophy, action guidelines, and internal rules, and that enables us to manage ourselves autonomously. Specifically, based on compliance regulations, internal reporting regulations, and compliance manuals, the Compliance Committee plays a central role in formulating, implementing, and confirming plans, responding to internal reports, investigating and correcting violations of laws and regulations, implementing measures to prevent recurrence, and conducting follow-ups and in-house education.
Whistleblower System
In accordance with Article 362, Paragraph 4, Item 6 of the Corporate Law and Article 11 of the Whistleblower Protection Law, we have established internal reporting regulations for the early detection and correction of compliance violations, the formulation and implementation of measures to prevent recurrence, the protection of whistleblowers, and the disciplinary action of violators. The Compliance Committee operates an internal reporting system. The Compliance Committee has a whistle-blowing hotline, and an external hotline (an attorney) has also been established. In addition, the employees and their families of the Group are the employees of the Group, and we are working to ensure the proper operation of the system by disseminating the whistle-blowing system through postings on the intranet and in-house magazines, distribution of posters and cards, and compliance training, and by identifying and improving problems through deliberations by the Compliance Committee and compliance questionnaires.
Exclusion of Antisocial Activities
We will take a firm stance toward anti-social forces and block any relationships with them. We will also work to eliminate anti-social forces in cooperation with the police and the National Police Agency's Special Federation for Anti-Violence Measures in the Metropolitan Area.
Obtaining a license for industrial waste collection and transport business
We have obtained licenses for industrial waste collection and transportation in more than 35 municipalities nationwide, and we provide services that are trusted by local communities. We strive to contribute to a sustainable society by responding flexibly to customer needs and efficiently collecting and transporting waste.
AEO (approved customs broker, specified bonded approver) certification
In 2014, we were approved by the Tokyo Customs as a "Special Bond Approver" in AEO System and certified as a "Certified Customs and Clearance Company" in 2016, as an excellent operator with a well-developed security control and legal compliance system. Currently, we are certified as a specific bonded approver (four sales offices) and an authorized customs clearing agent (nine sales offices). Certified customs clearing companies have the advantage of being able to relax and simplify customs procedures, while certain bonded approvers are recognized by customs as more secure and compliant operators by obtaining AEO.
